Something to think about...

Do not waste your time waiting for something to happen in your life, instead waste your time making something happen. At least that way the journey was exciting even if the destination wasn't quite what you set out for it to be.

I feel very good. Today, or tonight you could say as it is now Thursday, somebody has told me that I have inspired them. I feel so proud to have been able to bring back the passion into somebody else's life, somebody that had stopped writing has now begun to write again. This is what I want to do. I want to show people that they should continue with their passion, I want to make a difference, I have been on Twitter for two days and I have already inspired somebody to write again. I feel very rewarded. This morning I also sent off three poems to an NHS charity that runs 'Poems in the Waiting Room', I sent one poem that has been published by the Grimsby Telegraph and two that have not in the hope that in some way they can use them to help raise money for such a good charity. The poem that has been published that I sent off was 'Sam'.

The rose, deep red, Soft petals, Thorns, All as expected. Given as a gift, Received as a sin, Two hearts, torn within, One gesture. The chocolate box. Ribbon tied, soft brown, Expensive. Thornton's . As expected. Given with a tear, Received with a beer. Dismissed with a grin. The teddy bear. Huggable, Soft white, Company. All as expected. Given with thought, previously sought. Yet rejected. In The Fairy Garden

Power. You either have it, or you don't. And that's the way it will always be. So, I'm sitting in my garden in England, it's a tourist area.            I'm imagining the beach to be over crowded so apt for the comfort of the garden. The back garden. It's private. The garden itself isn't small. Or large. It just, is. Just average. I've noticed the flowers my step-father planted last year have suddenly come to life given the glorious heat. Notice the emphasis here. Glorious . I am a sun worshiper. So, all sorts of colours line the garden, oranges and reds, separated by standing solar lights. This is my mother's little piece of involvement regarding the garden. My step-father is a gardener you see, so it's our job to stay away from it. They change colour, the solar lights that is. She likes colours, all sorts of colours bright beautiful colours, but if I had it my way they would be plain white. White is a classy colour and wouldn't cont...
